HALLOWEEN PARTY

October 1, 2021

Hope you can join us for our Halloween Party.  We have a variety of games and activities planned for your children to celebrate Halloween.

·   Children should come in a costume.  If you do not have a Halloween costume yet do not panic... a funny hat or anything else silly is fine.  Parents and siblings can dress up too.

·   We are asking for YOUR help at this meeting.  We would like to have the children trunk-or-treat. For those of you not familiar with Trunk-or-Treating, the premise is simple: A bunch of parents band together (typically in a school or church parking lot), deck out their trunks with Halloween decorations and let their kids meander from car to car, collecting candy or prizes.  Don't want to decorate your car- that is okay- you can still help by handing out candy from your undecorated trunk.  Please bring enough candy for 60 kids.  Giant has their Halloween candy out already!!!

We are looking forward to seeing you Friday night!!!!

LITTLE BENNETT CAMPOUT

25 September @ Little Bennett Campground

Pack 773 is going camping Saturday 25 September at Little Bennett Campground in Clarksburg, MD.  All Scout and their families are invited to attend. Please join us for the entire campout or part of it.

Pack 773 Activities

Please enjoy a picnic dinner with your family.  We will not be providing a fire or grill to cook this year.

We will have games in the field and on the playground for the kids beginning around 4.  Parents and kids should wear sneakers and be prepared to play.  Oftentimes we have children versus parent games.

There is a large playground located next to the Group site.

Evening campfire will begin around dusk.  There are wood benches but bring camp chairs so that we can maintain proper social distancing.

We will end our campfire with toasting marshmallows and making s'mores.  To maintain social distancing, a maximum of 6 people at a time will be allowed to toast marshmallows.  We will have the youngest children go first.

For those of you spending the night, we will provide a few morning snacks.  Please bring your own drinks.  *Swell brand water bottles will keep hot coffee made Saturday afternoon warm until Sunday morning- it will be day-old but taste oh so good.

Saturday Activities Offered by Little Bennett

The activity schedule will not be released by Little Bennett until Thursday evening.  We will send it out as soon as we receive it.  Some activities require wrist bands.  Please see Kimberly for a wrist band.  Parents only need a wrist band if they are participating in the activity.  If you want to participate in an activity and Kimberly is not there or you can’t find her, go to the camp store and let them know you are with the King/Pack 773 Large Camp group and they will provide you with a wrist band.  This is an example of things that have been offered in the past
